Winner of the AHS Honorable Mention in 2015

C. Douglas ‘12

Tet, 6”, Sev, M-Re, 23”, frag, 22 buds, 4 way branching

(WONDER OF IT ALL X GARY COLBY)

The night before this bloomed for the first time I just knew it was going to be special. Lime green ruffles were already showing through the partially opened bud. The next morning I was not disappointed. KERMIT THE FROG has large lemon yellow blooms with a pink blush. Much bigger than many of the “green” flowers out of Florida. Early morning blooms have a strong green cast which fades to yellow as the day progresses. This long awaited flower has a heavily ruffled lemon yellow edge and throat and is slightly sculpted. Fertile both ways. LIMITED due to a long waiting list.
